This color of Linsey-Woolsey was mainly used for
men's shirting, but can be used for many other
items as well.
Our Linsey-Woolsey is made in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States Of America. The warp is 100% linen and the weft is 100% wool. It is delivered loom state with no additional finishing processes added.
After detailed research of this fabric in Gettysburg, Pa.,we came away with what we thought was the authentic look, feel, coloration and construction of
Linsey-Woolsey. We then had to search for the proper yarns to recreate our findings. After months of research and development of these yarns we concluded that we had found the proper products. Now the question was "Would it weave?" We were thrilled to find that it manufactured very well. We were also happy with the color, texture and overall quality. Now, we are happy to share this with
you.
